Why families need a different combo

Standard combos run on adult timing — pickup at 14:30, return at 21:30 — which doesn't work for families with young children who need an earlier dinner and earlier sleep. The family package shifts everything earlier and softens each component. Adults still get the dune-bashing experience; kids get age-appropriate activities (kids ATV zone, camel intro, sandboarding) without being on the open-desert convoy. Camp evening starts and ends earlier so children aren't fading at 21:00.

What's adjusted for the family package

• Pickup window earlier: 13:00-13:30 (vs 14:30 standard)
• Drop-off earlier: 19:30-20:00 (vs 21:30 standard)
• Dune-bashing pace softened — driver runs 'family pace' not standard intensity
• Kids ATV zone time included for any children of suitable age (verified at staging area)
• Adult buggy or quad on the open desert with a parent driving (kids stay in supervised zone)
• Camp dinner served earlier — BBQ buffet opens 30-45 min after camp arrival rather than 90 min
• Booster seats available in the pickup vehicle on request
• Quieter table at the camp away from main show area on request
• Henna + sandboarding for kids — favourite activities at the camp

• 30-min 4-seater 1000cc family buggy (parents drive, kids in rear with harness) — AED 800
• OR 30-min individual quads for parents + kids ATV supervised zone session
• Dune bashing in shared safari Land Cruiser (gentle pace) — included in safari component

Pregnant or recent-surgery guests

We do not recommend the dune-bashing portion for pregnant guests or guests recovering from spinal/abdominal surgery within 6 months. We can arrange a 'no dune-bashing' itinerary that goes straight to the camp with the rest of the family — message us on WhatsApp and we'll set it up at no extra cost.
