Gift vouchers for Al Jazeera Tours desert experiences are issued by WhatsApp with a unique code. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from issue and redeemable against any of our six services — buggy, quad, safari, balloon, camel, dirt bike. Full terms at /voucher-terms/.
How gift vouchers work
Send a WhatsApp message to +971 52 440 9525 with the recipient's name (or 'gift') and the voucher amount. We send back a digital voucher with a unique alphanumeric code, the issued date, the recipient name, the amount in AED, and the expiry date (6 months from issue). The recipient quotes the code on their booking message; we apply it against the booking total. If the booking value is higher than the voucher amount, the recipient pays the difference; if lower, the voucher is single-use unless we explicitly record the balance.
Voucher options
- Activity-specific voucher: redeemable for one named experience (e.g. '30-min Dune Buggy 2-Seater').
- Open-value voucher: a fixed AED amount applied against any booking.
- Combo voucher: covers a specific combo (Buggy + Safari, Couples Desert Package).
- Premium voucher: for Can-Am Maverick X3, Private Safari, Hot Air Balloon Premium tiers.
- Custom message: we can include a personalised message on the voucher PDF.
How recipients redeem
- Send WhatsApp with the voucher code at booking time
- Mention the booking date, vehicle/slot preferences, hotel zone
- We apply the voucher value against the confirmed booking total
- Recipient pays only the difference (if any) on arrival or via WhatsApp transfer
What you should know before gifting
- 6-month validity from the date of issue
- Single-use unless the voucher PDF explicitly records a balance
- Transferable to a named recipient before first use; not transferable after redemption

How do I buy a voucher?

Can I print the voucher?
Yes — the PDF is print-ready. Many guests print and frame as a gift.
What if the recipient doesn't redeem before the 6-month expiry?
Expired vouchers cannot be re-validated. Mention upcoming expiry on WhatsApp and we may offer a one-time 30-day extension on case-by-case basis.
Is the voucher refundable?
Within 30 days of purchase, yes — refunded to the original payment method. After 30 days the voucher cannot be refunded but stays valid for redemption until expiry.
