Why WhatsApp instead of an online booking form
Two reasons. First, WhatsApp creates a written record both ways — your booking thread becomes your receipt, the driver's name and plate are searchable in your messages, and any reschedule is on the same thread. Second, real-time clarification — most desert-tour bookings have at least one detail (vehicle pick, slot length, child age) that benefits from a 30-second back-and-forth. A static online form forces guesses; WhatsApp gets it right first time. We do support email and phone for guests who prefer them, but the booking confirmation always lands on WhatsApp.
Booking flow — step by step

- Get the booking confirmationDriver name, vehicle plate, pickup time window, verified or quoted price. Save this message.
- Day-before reminderWe send a reminder the evening before with confirmed driver and any updates.
- Day of pickupDriver calls 5-10 min before arrival. Verify plate at the hotel lobby. Climb in.
- Pay on arrivalCash, card or bank transfer at the staging area for standard tours. Combo / premium bookings may have asked for a small deposit on WhatsApp earlier.
- Drop-offSame vehicle returns you to your hotel. Booking complete.

- Slot: morning / sunset / specific time if known
- Hotel name + room/area
- Group size: adults + children with ages
- Driving licence ready: yes/no (relevant for self-drive buggy or dirt bike)
- Special needs: pregnancy, back issue, recent surgery, dietary needs, mobility considerations
- Pickup zone if not a hotel: address or Google Maps pin
- Add-ons: photographer, GoPro, camp upgrade — if you want them
