Scope

These terms apply to all bookings of Al Jazeera Tours desert adventure services. By booking on WhatsApp, phone or email, the guest confirms they have read and accepted these terms. They cover dune buggy, quad biking, desert safari, hot air balloon, dirt biking and camel ride bookings, plus combos and corporate events.

Booking confirmation and payment

A booking is confirmed when we send the WhatsApp confirmation with driver name, vehicle plate, pickup time and price. Standard tours run on pay-on-arrival in cash, card or bank transfer. Premium and combo bookings may require a confirmation deposit on WhatsApp; the booking confirmation tells you which model applies. We do not charge card surcharges, fuel surcharges or hidden booking fees on top of the confirmed price.

Cancellations, reschedules and refunds

Cancellations and reschedules are handled on WhatsApp under the original booking thread. The exact policy depends on the lead time before pickup and the service tier — see our cancellation policy page for the matrix. Weather-driven cancellations (sandstorm, heavy rain, operator-cancelled balloon flight) are rescheduled at no charge or refunded if rescheduling within your trip is not possible.

Liability

Off-road desert activities carry inherent risk. Guests follow the guide's briefing and convoy rules at all times. Al Jazeera Tours is not liable for damage caused by guests acting against the briefing or for personal items lost or damaged during a tour. Guests are responsible for declaring relevant medical conditions (back injury, recent surgery, pregnancy) at booking; we may decline to release the activity at the briefing if a declared condition is unsafe for the planned ride.

Insurance

We do not represent ourselves as insurance brokers. Guests are encouraged to maintain their own travel and activity insurance. Specific operator-side insurance arrangements (e.g. for hot air balloon operations) are held by the operator partner and apply to the activity portion only; the guest's personal insurance covers personal items, pre-existing medical conditions, and any travel outside the activity itself.

Image and video use

Photos and videos taken by guests during the tour belong to the guest. Photos taken by our photographer add-on or by Al Jazeera Tours staff during the tour may be used in our marketing material with the guest's consent — collected at booking. We never use third-party guest images without explicit consent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are resolved by amicable discussion first; unresolved disputes are referred to Dubai courts. The guest's home-country consumer-protection laws may also apply where relevant.
