Why Abu Dhabi tours are quote-based

Every Abu Dhabi booking is a custom build. The starting point is your hotel or pickup location, then a cross-emirate transfer of around 90-120 minutes from Dubai (or a direct meet-up if you're already in Abu Dhabi), the choice of route — Al Khatim closer to the city, Liwa deep in the south, or the Empty Quarter for the multi-day plan — and the activity mix on top of that. None of those costs are fixed because group size, vehicle count, partner camp availability and transfer route all shift the final number. So we don't publish a fake 'from' price for Abu Dhabi the way we do for Dubai pillars. Instead, you send the parameters and we send back a real itinerary plus a real number.

What we need from you on WhatsApp

• Group size and ages (e.g. '4 adults, 2 kids aged 8 and 11')
• Tour date(s) — exact day or a window (e.g. 'sometime between 12-15 May')
• Pickup point — Dubai hotel name + zone, or Abu Dhabi hotel + zone, or Yas Marina / airport
• Service mix — buggy / quad / safari / balloon / camel / combo, and rough duration preference
• Trip shape — half-day in Al Khatim, full-day Liwa run, or multi-day Empty Quarter overnight
• Hotel-pickup window — preferred start time and any latest return-by deadline
• Special needs — pregnancy, mobility, dietary, language preference for the guide
• Photography add-on — yes/no (independent photographer engaged per booking)

What you get back

Within working hours we reply with: a written itinerary draft (route, time blocks, what's included at each stop), a transfer plan (vehicle type, pickup time at your hotel, expected arrival in Abu Dhabi), partner-camp confirmation if a meal stop is involved, and the total quote in AED with a breakdown that shows transfer cost, activity cost, partner-camp fee and any photography add-on separately. The quote is valid for 7 days. Once you confirm, we send a booking confirmation message with the lead guide's name, vehicle plate(s), pickup time window and the cancellation rules from /cancellation-policy/.

Three common Abu Dhabi shapes

• Day trip from Dubai — pickup ~07:00, transfer to Al Khatim, half-day buggy + dune-bashing safari, lunch at partner camp, return to Dubai by ~18:00. Best for guests already on a Dubai trip who want one Abu Dhabi day.
• Liwa weekend — overnight at a desert resort or partner camp in Liwa, full-day Empty Quarter dune drive on day 2, return on day 3. Best for guests who want depth, not breadth.
• Abu Dhabi-based booking — guest already at Yas Marina, Saadiyat or Corniche hotel; we collect locally and run a single-day Al Khatim tour. Cheapest of the three because no Dubai transfer.

Cross-emirate transfer notes

Most Abu Dhabi bookings start with a 4x4 SUV transfer from Dubai. Travel time is 90-120 minutes from most Dubai zones depending on traffic and start point. Marina, JBR, Downtown and Business Bay are the closest. Deira, Bur Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Road north add 10-15 minutes. We don't run convoys with private cars — every transfer uses our staging vehicles or a contracted partner. The transfer cost is a separate line on the quote so you can see what's driving the number. Return is included in the quote unless you've asked us to drop you somewhere different from pickup.

What we don't promise

We don't promise a fixed price before reviewing your parameters. We don't promise a specific guide unless you've ridden with us before and we have the schedule confirmed. We don't promise a specific Empty Quarter route on the day — it depends on weather, sand condition and partner-camp availability — but we do publish the route options upfront in the quote so you can pick. We don't run blanket multi-tour 'discount packages' on Abu Dhabi because route and partner mix change too much for a fixed bundle.
