Why Palm pickup has three different rules

Hotel zones split into three: trunk hotels (FIVE Palm, NH Collection, Sofitel Palm) sit at the start, easily accessible; inner frond hotels (Anantara, Fairmont, Rixos) are on the residential fronds with gated-community access; outer crescent hotels (Atlantis, Waldorf, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray) are at the far end, requiring a 5-10 minute drive across the trunk-and-crescent monorail bridge. We charge a small transfer surcharge for outer-frond and crescent pickups because the round-trip adds 30-45 minutes that's not in the standard pickup pricing model.

Palm pickup specifics
- Inner-frond hotels require gated-community access — driver may need your hotel name to clear security at the frond entrance
- Atlantis lobby: pickup at the main porte-cochère is allowed for tour vehicles with prior booking confirmation; mention 'Atlantis pickup' on WhatsApp
- Royal Atlantis: separate side-lane drop-off — the concierge will direct your driver
- Crescent monorail: tour vehicles do not use the monorail; the road is the standard route
- Sunset slot from Palm crescent: book pickup 20-25 minutes earlier than equivalent Marina booking to allow for the longer drive
- Late return (after 22:00): traffic on the trunk back to the road is light; standard transfer time

Royal Atlantis uses a slightly different side-lane that the concierge can direct.
