What 'private' actually changes
On a shared evening safari, your Land Cruiser carries up to 6 passengers from different bookings. On a private evening safari, the entire 4x4 is yours and your group only. The route stays the same (Lahbab red dunes, sunset stop, Bedouin camp), but four things change: pickup time can flex to your schedule rather than the shared slot, the dune-bashing can be slowed or skipped on request, the camp arranges private table seating away from the shared section, and the photographer (if booked) can shoot your group without strangers in frame. AED 1,400 per car covers 5-6 people; per-head that works out to AED 235-280, very close to the AED 225 morning shared price.

- Private camel ride circuit (short, photo-focused).
- Henna painting at the camp.
- Refreshments at the camp — unlimited water, tea, coffee, soft drinks.

Who books the private safari
Three audiences. First, family groups of 4-6 — the per-head cost is comparable to shared while the experience is significantly better. Second, anniversary, honeymoon and proposal couples who want a clean photo set without strangers in the background. Third, corporate guests and small business groups who treat the safari as a client-hosting evening and need the privacy for conversation. Less common but valid: photographers and content creators who need the full vehicle for camera gear and clean shots.
