Why every balloon flight is a sunrise flight
Hot air balloons require calm air for safe lift and steady navigation. In Dubai's desert climate, that calm window exists only in the first hour after sunrise — the temperature inversion holds the air still until thermals start to rise around 7:30-8:30 AM. Operators run the flight inside this window because outside it the balloon becomes harder to control and the risk profile changes. There is no afternoon balloon flight in Dubai. If you cannot do an early start, the balloon is not the right pick — book a sunset buggy or sunset safari for an evening alternative.
