Al Jazeera Tours handles group desert bookings — bachelor / hen weekends, school trips, sports clubs, agency tours, family reunions. Convoy and camp sizing are tuned per group; rates step at 6, 12 and 25 guests.

What 'group' means here

Anything from 6 to 200 guests counts as a group booking and gets a tailored quote. Below 6 we run the standard per-vehicle or per-person tier from the published prices on each service page. From 6 upward, we book multiple vehicles, sometimes a dedicated convoy, and where the group includes a camp evening we may book a dedicated section of the partner camp. The pricing logic is mostly per-vehicle: more riders share the same buggy/quad/Land Cruiser cost when the group fits within vehicle capacity. The savings step at 6, 12 and 25 reflect when we can dedicate a vehicle, a convoy, or a camp section to your group exclusively.

School trips — supervised buggy/quad sessions on the kids zone + safari camp evening, 20-50 students

Group pricing tiers

1-5 guests: standard per-vehicle / per-person rate from each service page
6-11 guests: small per-head saving as we dedicate convoy slots
12-24 guests: larger per-head saving with multi-vehicle convoy
25-50 guests: dedicated camp section if camp evening included; per-head savings continue
50-100 guests: full camp takeover possible (off-peak nights); branding setup options
100-200+ guests: requires 4-6 weeks lead time; multiple staging areas; dedicated coordinator

Booking flow for groups

Send a WhatsApp message with: group size, age range, dates (1st choice + 2nd choice), preferred activities, hotel zone(s) for pickup, any dietary requirements, and any non-negotiable timing constraints (return flight, pre-existing dinner reservation, end of evening hard stop). We respond with a quote within hours; for groups 25+ we usually want a phone call to walk through the logistics before quoting. A 20-30% confirmation deposit is normal for groups 12+ to reserve the vehicles and camp section.

How much advance notice for a group of 20?

2-4 weeks ideal in winter peak; 1 week often works in shoulder months. Same-day bookings for 20+ are rarely possible.

Can split-payment work?

Yes — group leader pays the deposit, individuals can settle their share at the staging area in cash or card. Mention at booking.

Can different group members do different activities?

Yes — common on bachelor weekends (some on buggy, some on quad). We coordinate the convoy so everyone meets at the camp evening.

Do under-18s need a separate consent form?

Yes — supplied at booking, signed by parent/guardian. Schools have their own group-consent process which we accept.

Can we have alcohol at the camp for a bachelor party?

Beer and wine usually available at the partner camp's bar (pay-on-the-day). Hard alcohol depends on the camp licence; mention at quote.
